Out of curiosity, why does Aspyr do this? Supporting only specific devices is like a time warp from the early 90s. What about just using the standard HID manager?
-Eric Great question Eric. To be clear, when we 'support' a gamepad, we are saying that device works according to our standards and has been acutely tested by our QA team.
In the case of gamepads, its gotta be plug-and-play with full functionality. We aren't saying that other devices don't work, we are just saying that we know FOR SURE that this one will. Hey, I just bought black ops for my Mac. I have a wired xbox 360 controller, and its showing up on my computer but when I go to the game out doesn't give me an option to use the gamepad.

What am I doing wrong? Hey there, have you gone to your controller settings in the game menu? If so, and it still isn't working, you likely have a 3rd party driver for that controller which can muck things up a bit.

No worries, Aspyr support can get you going either way. If you are still having issues. Hope that helps!
